Tessa Morris LCGI (31)
one-to-one small and friendly
About me
In 2013 we welcomed an Australian Miniature Labradoodle to our family and to be able to give her a positive grooming life I'd be happy with for her I made the decision to travel a different path after being a hair stylist for over 20yrs and I went back to college in 2013. I gained distinctions in all graded assignments in the City & Guilds Level 2 for Dog Grooming Assistants in 2014 and in the first part of Level 3 Introductory Certificate in 2015. In 2016 I started the second part of the Level 3 achieving the full Diploma for Professional Dog Stylists in 2017 passing all 4 styling exams first time. In 2021 I gained my City & Guilds Level 4 Licentiateship (LCGI).
I was trained and mentored through all my grooming qualifications by Jocelyn Dorrian LCGI GMG she has been grooming since 2001 and teaching since 2010 at various colleges and since 2017 at her own grooming academy, she holds her City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for Professional Dog Stylists, City & Guilds Level 4 Licentiateship and her Higher Diploma in Dog Grooming and has been accepted to the Guild of Master Groomers and is one of only 16 groomers who currently hold this prestigious accolade.
The Dog Shed is a small exclusive one to one luxury care professional dog grooming service and I am committed to putting your dogs welfare above anything else without exception. There is a calming atmosphere and I take my time and work with your dog at their pace to make the process as relaxing and as positive an experience as possible which includes the use of Reiki. If they don't accept a part of the process then I will work with you both until we get to a point where your dog hopefully feels comfortable with it.
I use premium, luxurious 100% natural plant derived shampoos and conditioners which contain no SLS, parabans, petro-chemicals or synthetic perfumes.
I treat all my customers dogs as my own and we develop a very close bond, they learn to trust me and they become a member of The Dog Shed family.
They’re groomed with kindness, respect and style!

I have been taking my 10 year old Lhasa Apso Daisy to Tess for almost 2 years now and I always find her very professional, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend The Dog Shed and would not take my dog anywhere else. I know that when I leave my dog with Tess she is safe and happy!

I've been using Tessa to groom my two Cocker Spaniels for two years now. She is patient and loving towards them and I would highly recommend her services.

I have taken my little schitz zu max to tess now for just over 12 months. He loves going for his treatment and he always looks fab when I pick him up...Tess is very wecolming and I know she treats max like she would her own pooches...I would and have recommended tess to friends and family. ..it's a great lille place and quite homely max feels very comfortable there.
Our dog Max goes to see Tess every three weeks and I am sure he loves going. He comes out looking a million dollars. Tess offers a very top rated service and will also offer friendly advice on our two dogs, not just Max. I will recommend Tess to everyone that wants to treat their pooch to a top of the range pampering. The minute you walk into the well equipped grooming parlour it's a nice friendly relaxed time for owner and pooch
My 6 month old puppy Buddy has been going to Tess for 3 months, he’s very new to the grooming experience and has proved slightly challenging for Tess. I have to say that despite his dislike of certain elements of his grooming he looks absoloutley amazing every time!! Tess always has lots of advice and reassuring words for a new dog owner like myself and she’s very keen to work with Buddy on a regular basis in order for him to settle into his grooming. Each time he visits I couldn’t be happier, The Dog Shed is small and cosy
My pup is 2 years old and has been going to tess for a while & he can be a bit of a handful but with tess patience he’s getting there and beginning to actually enjoy being groomed

The one to one service Tess offers made me choose The Dog Shed over other groomers nearly four years ago ,when we first met Tess for our puppy trim. It was definitely the best decision I’ve made as we have been visiting Tess every five weeks since. Meg always looks and smells wonderful, and can’t get down Tess’s path quick enough to see her . Thank you Tess for a fantastic service, nothing is ever too much trouble and most of all your patience with Meg,who can be a live wire at times.
BEST DOG GROOMER EVER...my little Bichon loves Tess and his 4 weekly groom.
Tess works with you to make sure that everybody gets the best from her services.one to one which I love xx
My two year old Shitzu poodle, Dottie loves to go and see Tess for her regular pamper. This is evident in all the lickykisses she bestows upon her when she sees her after running uo the garden path to see her. Tess is friendly, approachable and very professional
