About me

My name is Jane and I am a fully qualified dog groomer, having qualified at the prestigious Look North Summit groomer training school, Keighley, West Yorkshire. I was trained by the acclaimed and award winning Zoe Duffy. I am qualified to City and Guilds diploma level and have been running my own dog grooming salon now for over 5 years. My Salon was founded on two basic principles: provide a professional and high standard dog grooming service and do your BEST work everyday.

So many grooming salons are dark and dirty with cranky, stressed out animals and people. I strive to be different. The dog Factor is very much like a human hair salon … just for your pet. The salon is light and airy with relaxing music and a calm atmosphere.

I take my work very seriously. The dogs respond to the atmosphere and most are calm and playful. I have built my salon to specifically cater to dogs putting their welfare and needs first. Dogs notice the difference and know this is the place for them.

I cater for all breeds and groom to breed standard or to owners specific requirements. I also cater for all temperaments. I enjoy my work and I love dogs. I have two border collies, Bonnie and Meg and they are my whole life. My salon is located in a quiet residential area next to the Leeds Liverpool canal at Apperley Bridge, Bradford and only having one dog at a time I provide a stress free environment for dogs. My salon is modern and fully equipped and a pleasant environment.
