About me
Hi all , Just a bit about myself. I love dogs , including the training and grooming . In younger times I worked with sheep for about 8 years and had working sheepdogs which I love as a breed but havent enough time for that breed atm
I have been grooming for over21 years. I also have a passion for terriers and have been lucky enough to show Westies at Crufts on occasions although sadly mine are now elderly, we also have Great Danes which which love and we also show .I absolutely love teaching! Watching people and personalities grow its so very rewarding when I see students qualify. I qualified in 1999 when I started teaching Diploma at Chichester College and I still do! My position there allows me to not only meet such a lovely variety of students and fantastic colleagues but to be involved with other areas of the College parlour and liaise with suppliers. Over the years I qualified as an assessor ,have taken a teaching qualification and am registered on Level 4. I have passed my Theory for the HD. I have competed and won at Grooming comps ( quite a few years ago!)with Westies and have done some Westie trim/strip demos for various groups , sad now that my "girls" are a bit old to use , hope to have some more in future.
I groom from home when possible and have some lovely clients although my old joints restrict me from time to time!
I am also involved with horses including bloodstock and we also breed top class competition horses and have our own licensed warmblood stallion and along with my husband are qualified equine Insemination technician, instructors and general equine breeding advisory services.
Private grooming tuition and grooming advice always available by appointment.
Highly recommended!
