About me
Having completed my C&G level 3 in 2020 I set up my own home based salon in my converted garage.
I own 2 dogs a wire coated jack russell called Digby and a lhasapoo Maggie. Maggie has the most amazing coat and I absolutely love grooming her but my other favourite breeds to groom would be the miniature schnauzer and a Pomeranian cross who is scissored all over.
I offer full grooms to breed standard or customers preferred style, bath and dry, hand stripping, puppy packages, desensitisation sessions and teeth cleaning with the cleany teeth ultrasound toothbrush. I work in a holistic way and want your dog to enjoy their time with me. I love nothing more than seeing the dogs dragging their owners up the drive as they can't get in quick enough!!
I am keen to continue with my education, personal development and keeping upto date with new products, techniques and trends by attending webinars, seminars and grooming shows.
I have passed a canine first aid course.
Greatest achievements to date would be passing my level 3 with merit and getting placed 1st in my class in my first ever grooming comp in January 2022

It has taken 4 years to find a groomer who looks after the mental well being of our dog as much as her physical welfare. Claire has a strong code of ethics and I feel confident in the work she does.
My Springer does not like to be washed or groomed at all but since i havw been taking her to Clare she loves going and gets so excited when she sees her. This has never happened before, I know Izzy is in safe and caring hands and Clare does an amazing job. Honestly highly recommended! So glad I found you.
Clare is just amazing i take my Dog Frankie a West Island terrier he love going for is groom with Clare and comes out looking Fabulous she is so patient with the dogs that go’s to see her for their groom and treat the dogs as if They were the own dogs I would recommend
Buddy loves going to Claire she makes him feel very welcome and the puppy package is very reasonable Buddy always comes out well groomed and smelling good.
Max loves his visits to Clare. I feel confident in the fact that Clare take a one to one approach to grooming and, unlike other groomers, Max has Clare’s full attention and she isn’t in a rush to get him in and out the door- a genuine dog lover! As for her grooms... Max always comes back smelling fantastic and she does an amazing job of deshedding to get longer lasting results! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Baxter can’t wait to jump out of the car to see Clare and that’s a massive achievement because Baxter hates being groomed at home. He’s like a dog with two tails when he see’s Clare. I think he secretly likes some pampering away from my 2 year old. I see pictures throughout his treatment and I can see how chilled he is, she’s just great he comes home smelling and looking amazing. I’m so glad I found Clare, Baxter loves her!
