About me

My name is Renea and I am the Owner of FPH K9 Grooming.  I qualified as a Level 3 groomer in 2018 and love what I do.  I am a one-on-one groomer and work from a purpose built groom room which provides a calm environment. 

I have been involved with animals and their care for the majority of my life.   Not only dogs but also cats, horses, cows and goats.  I owned and managed a boarding kennel for 14 years which was highly successful but I retired from it early in 2026.  

I am First Aid Qualified and happy to groom all breeds of dogs

    After a bad experience with a previous unregistered groomer, my Bedlington Terrier was physically & mentally traumatised by the time he had spent (3.5hrs) there for one visit. I finally managed to find Renea after contacting almost every groomer I could find online. She replied to me with pictures of grooms she had done previously & I was able to see that she is experienced in Bedlington Terrier breed. She was very reassuring via private message and certainly made me feel at ease about getting my very nervous & jumpy boy groomed. He was groomed on 6th April 2021 and wow, Renea has done a marvellous job with him. He was a bit unsure at first when we left him, but when we went to collect him a short time later, he was very happy, not grumpy with me at all and looked absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend Renea as she makes sure that your dog is comfortable and at ease and strives to make the grooming session a positive experience for you precious pooch. I have recommended Renea to my friend who has the sister of my boy.

    I was so grateful that Renea was able to squeeze my Cockapoo in for an emergency groom, after another groomer cancelled twice on us meaning he hadn’t been groomed for 9 weeks. Max looked awesome after his groom, his face has been trimmed beautifully and his coat is gleaming. We are already booked in for our next groom. It’s clear that Renea has a passion for grooming and loves all dogs. Also with the AWPR Newmachar is so accessible from all parts of the city and shire. I will be recommending Renea to my friends
