About me
I was first introduced in the world of dogs from birth! On a cold winters day in early November my mother sat and delivered 13 Rottweiler puppies over 36 hrs ... 3 days later she delivered me!
I was pushed around dog shows in a push chair and in 1991 aged 5 i handled my mothers first miniature poodle! I won many top awards in the breed and in junior handling but it wasnt until my dad bought me my first standard poodle aged 11.. Phoenix - Champion Pamplona Cockney Rebel. Over his lifetime we did so much together. Over 50 best in show awards, he was my first show champion and he taught me my love and passion for grooming.
Over 20yrs later I am now approved to judge at Championship show level in all 3 sizes of poodle, I opened my grooming salon in 2008, achieved my full City and Guilds level 3 Diploma, in 2016 finished my ICMG and June 2017 I moved premises to open the North Easts (England) only International Professional Groomers/ ICMG training school.
We are now also an iPET accredited training school, teaching this wonderful new qualification that is also recognised on the UK national educational framework.
We deliver the following courses -
ICMG - Track 1 20/30/40 day courses
iPET Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming and Introduction to Styling
iPET Level 3 Award in an Introductory to Dog Grooming
iPET Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management
iPET Level 3 Award for Educators in the Canine and Feline Sector
iPET Level 3 Award in Handstripping
iPET Level 3 Award in Canine Emergency First Aid
iPET Level 4 Higher Professional Diploma in Dog Grooming
I deliver talks and seminars on grooming and poodles and have won numerous awards in grooming as well as conformation shows.
Grooming is not just a job, it is a love and a passion.. so much support and friendship to have... i love being a part of this industry and want to help it grow.
I will continue to progress and strive to be the best I can be as I want to help others achieve their full potential and more!

I had the absolute pleasure of attending Kirsty’s grooming school for a few days last week. I’m a newish Groomer But my business is going well. I contacted Kirsty as I need to continue to develop my skills and knew of her excellent reputation. The welcome, understanding and knowledge I gained in just a few days was astounding!
