About me

I have always had a love for dogs, even though I was brought up in the city.

I completed my training in 1974 after a career change and opened the business, Hair & Hounds, later that year.  In 1998 I completed my full City & Guilds level 3 professional qualification.


In 2008 I was joined by Susan Jones at the salon in Keynsham and a great team was forged.  We offer a one to one grooming experience completing each groom ourselves.

I enjoy attending grooming seminars, training days and shows. I feel you can never stop learning and enjoy studying new techniques, being introduced to innovative tools and the science of all things canine.

I am owned by 2 Affenpinschers, am a beekeeper, a motorcyclist and a maker of anything crafty.
