Meet Laura Owen, the talent behind House of Fluff!

Laura has a real passion for poodles and creative styling, with a particular love for Asian Fusion grooming. If you’ve ever seen those perfectly rounded faces, soft fluffy finishes, and irresistibly cute expressions and that’s exactly the kind of magic she creates.

For Laura, grooming isn’t just about making dogs look good (although they absolutely do). It’s about constantly improving, evolving, and pushing creative boundaries. Her journey into competition grooming has taken that passion even further, giving her the drive to keep learning, refining her skills, and connecting with others in the industry.

Every groom feels thoughtful. Every finish feels elevated. Every dog leaves looking like the best version of themselves.

“One of the most important things for any groomer is mastering your blaster/dryer technique.”

It might sound simple, but using a blaster correctly can:

Cut down drying and prep time massively

Improve the final finish of the groom

Most importantly, support the dog’s health and safety

It’s one of those small skills that makes a huge difference and something every groomer can benefit from perfecting.
