About me
Classie grooming was established in 2005 moving to our first high street salon in 2009. I have devoted my life to all things dogs and have been fortunate enough to have worked in many roles within dogs, and have made life long friends the world over. Grooming and showing being my main passion, I started dog showing in 1990, and have made up champions and have won challenge certificates for myself and other's in no less the 7 breeds. Most noticeably my cocker spaniels, amassing over 40 ccs with 4 of my own champions I am a championship show judge and have officiated in Sweden, Denmark, Bratislava, Germany, Ireland Serbia Finland and the U.K. I've handled dogs in the USA and Europe and have also had the honour to of judged many of the UKs grooming competitions, I have given many seminars and demonstrations in the U.K. And overseas. I enjoy my committee work and have served on many canine society's as a committee member and have held officers post such as secretary and chairman of the north of England cocker spaniel association.along with winning Groomer Of The Year - this is possibly my biggest achievement, second only to winning Best of Breed at Crufts with a German shepherd dog. Other significant achievements include being a Groom Team England member, as an International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG), an accolade I hold with such pride.
