About me

After initially pursuing a career in the equine industry gaining a BTech Higher National Diploma in Horse Management from Sparsholt College, my passion took a detour towards dog grooming. Starting out as a bather/brusher in a friends’ salon I absolutely fell in love with the job and knew I would never want to do anything else. Over the last 15 years I have enjoyed working in 2 very well established salons, learning from other talented groomers to improve my own skills and knowledge.

In 2017 I gained my City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Professional Dog Grooming, I also have a certificate in Canine First Aid and enjoy attending seminars and competitions both as a spectator and a competitor. I placed 3rd in my class at Mastergroom 2018 shortly followed by a 2nd place at the British Dog Grooming Championships 2018.

After having my son in 2019 I wanted my return to work to be for myself and so I took the next big step in my career and opened my own salon.... Fresh Pets!

I take a lot of pride in my work and strive to provide a high quality of service to both animal and owner, I understand the importance of building good communication, trust and compassion in order to maintain good groomer-animal-owner relationship.
