About me

Hello. im Claire. Ive always loved dogs and spent my childhood with mine, training him and teaching new tricks. I first became interested in grooming when i got my cocker spaniel Flash, 9 years ago. I loved grooming him so in 2015 I decided to learn how to do it properly. I went to Hadlow college and was lucky enough to learn from the best. City and Guilds Level 2 certificate for dog grooming assistant. I got the bug and wanted to learn more so i did the level 3 Introductory Dog Grooming course and Diploma for Professional Dog Stylists.
I am keen on learning as much as I can so regularly go on seminars. These include canine first aid, anatomy - the foundation of grooming, cat grooming, Emmi-pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning.
I have my own salon in Vigo, Kent, Claire's Canine Cuts. I work on a one to one basis so its less stressful for the dogs, creating a calm relaxing environment. I am also a member of Pet Industry Federation
