About me

My salon is located between Whittlesey, Eye, Thorney and Peterborough. I have been grooming for 5 years and trained at Hadlow college in Kent by Julie Harris, one of the leading trainers in the UK. After a long career in retail, I decided to change my passion into a business and so, I trained and qualified in dog grooming and pet first aid. It is important to hold recognized qualifications as they don’t just cover how to style or hold the dog, but they also ensure a groomer understands the importance of dog safety and welfare. I believe that like humans every dog is an individual and should be treated as such. I offer a bespoke 1-2-1 personal service with only your dog(s) in the grooming room during their visit. In addition, I also offer a collection and drop off service to anyone that does not have a suitable vehicle in which to transport their dog. Being a dog groomer is not just about the groom, it is about working with you the client for your dog’s needs, minimising stress levels and making it enjoyable.

Bespoke Client Service example:

Molly, a year-old Tibetan Terrier suffered with separation anxiety and had never been groomed before. The first visit was simply for a chat and play and then allowed me to create a plan on how to move forward. Due to her anxiety we started with weekly visits to me for half an hour just to play and gain her confidence. After 6 weeks we moved onto a bath and brush, then a couple of weeks later we progressed to a full groom, maintaining the ‘play dates’ for a number of weeks before phasing them out.
