Update February 2019 Completed ICMG - Became international certified master groomer.

I began my grooming career 25 years ago working in a busy boarding kennel and cattery.
I trained in house, and at Look North in Keighley. In 1995 i passed city and guilds 7750 with distiction. I was joint top candidate with another Look North student.
In 1996 I entered my first competition and gained 1st place from Paula Hull with a clipped cocker and 3rd place from Philip Lagdon with a miniature poodle.
I love working within this industry , attending competions and seminars as often as possible.
Grooming is my passion.
After working in kennels, then a busy salon, mobile and from my own home, I opened my own shop nearly 7 years ago.
Room2Groom combines the friendly , compassionate service of a home based groom with the quality of a professional salon. High quality grooms are achieved with care, always putting the dogs needs first.
I placed 3rd in open standard poodle at Mastergroom 2014.
I placed 1st in open standard poodle at Strictly Come Grooming 2017 and RBIS.
I placed 3rd in open pure breed workshop at Supergroom Southwest 2019.

June 2019 Great North Groom , Open commercial class- second place with my own lhasa apso.

I hope to continue competing at grooming competitions and have a new miniature poodle that i am hoping to show also.

But above all to carry on loving what i do, groomer for life !
