Hi, My name is kayla, I have been grooming for 11 years, I trained at 2 Left Paws.

I own 2 Standard poodles and toy poodle and a bearded dragon who lives at the salon. I've always wanted a rottweiler to add to our collection but my husband tells me we need a bigger house first! My favourite dogs to groom are rare breeds that we dont see often. I also enjoy hand scissoring dogs and specialise is poodles and hand scissoring. 

I am passionate about grooming and education and have atteneded many seminars over the years to progress my knowledge. 

I have completed a Pet First Aid course and ensure it is updated every 3 years. 

My greatest industry achievement is Building my business from scratch with very little money in the bank and growing it into a very successful high street salon and also placing 1st at English groomers challenge a few years back in a champion class. i have also placed in numerous other competitions including in creative grooming. I am known for turning my white standard poodle into lots of funky designs as he loves being groomed. 

I also featured on BBC 1s pooch perfect as one of 16 groomers competing for the UKs top groomer. To get onto the show in the first place was a huge achievement as thousands applied. 

This lead me onto becoming the brand ambassador for the largest grooming supply company in the UK, christies direct where i now do educational videos and seminars for newee groomers.

I own the salon with my sister beanie who is also a fully qualified groomer and work with a group of amazingly talented groomers. Our mum also works at our salon with us prepping all the dogs for there haircuts.
