About me
Hi, My name is Fran and I hold an OCN level 3 diploma in dog grooming.
I own and manage DogzBody Spa in Manchester and I offer a luxury bespoke 1:1 service. I am lucky to have quite a bit of space that includes a luxurious reception area and fully enclosed undercover garden.
My love of grooming started with my first dog, Leo the Samoyed. Leo was a much loved member of the family who also happened to be a show dog. I competed at Crufts several times with him, achieving his stud book number before I sadly had to retire him due to early-onset arthritis at the tender age of 7. I was also the proud guardian of Cara the Siberian Husky who sadly passed early in 2023 from liver cancer. We currently live with a very handsome (and very large) Malamute x Great Pyrenees rescue boy called Indiana Bones. He is my pride and joy!
I'm a therapy dog assessor for Canine Concern and have a small team that carry out visits in various establishments (schools, hospitals, care homes etc) in the North West Manchester area.
I am also a licensed Canine Body Language Instructor for the Dog Training College and aim to offer workshops in the near future.
I have completed a Pet First Aid course and refresh my knowledge yearly.
My greatest industry achievement to date was working as Dog Grooming Assistant to Stuart Simons on the recent BBC hit show, 'Pooch Perfect.'
I enjoy grooming a variety of breeds and am continually undertaking further professional development and courses to improve my skills and knowledge. My passion is double coated breeds (specifically dry coated breeds such as Huskies, Malamutes and Samoyeds) and people travel distances to use my services. I have trained a small team of groomers who work within my salon. They are all highly experienced and qualified groomers also.

Fran is so good with my Dog Wilson and he always comes home looking and smelling fantastic
I am so glad to have found Fran, she is absolutely amazing with my anxious Gordon Setter Maggi. Maggi's coat is improving at each visit and Fran is so helpful with recommendations for us to maintain the improvement between visits. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fran.
I am so pleased to have found Fran. She is fabulous with my 2 Shih Tzu’s Luna and Tia. They love their pamper session with Aunty Fran.
We were very nervous about finding the right groomer for our samoyed after hearing and seeing horror stories online of groomers who don't know what they are doing with double coated breeds and just shaving them down not only ruining their coats but putting them at risk, we found Fran via Facebook recommendation and she is amazing with Lola we will definitely be remaining loyal customers Lola always comes back looking and smelling amazing happy after her pamper and the seasonal groom really helps us keep on top of maintaining her gorgeous coat we would definitely recommend!
My girls absolutely love coming to Fran for their de-shed and pamper. She makes such a fuss of them. When they come home they smell amazing and feel silky soft . I have already recomend her to my friends ( with dogs)

I’ve been going to Fran for a year now and I couldn’t recommend her enough! My rescue came to me nervous of people and apart from me I think she’s his favourite person. She makes him feel so comfortable and at ease. She’s helped me out massively with him and not just in the grooming sense! She’s an absolute diamond and puts the dogs welfare above all else
Took our show cocker here for the 1st time after reading other reviews and have got to say I wasn’t disappointed, on first contact with Fran I was asked to come in first so she could asses our dog and talk us through everything plus show us around the salon. I was very impressed with the professionalism and her knowledge of everything. After the meet and great i was kept up to date and informed of every single step of the booking with emails, texts and forms to agree to ect. The finished product of our dog was fantastic and very pleased with how he looked and was treated I will definitely be booking him in again and will be our regular groomer from now on. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cannot recommend Fran highly enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable about double coated breeds, I learn something everytime I chat to her! She is very generous with her time and makes me feel completely at ease leaving my pooches with her.
Took my 2 dogs in to have there teeth cleaned and i was well impressed would highly recommend.
I took one of my Huskies in for her first teeth cleaning today. Both Fran and Abbie were exceptionally welcoming. Luna came out of the back room tail wagging and a much brighter smile. She was giving out kisses so she clearly enjoyed the experience!

Took our Milo to be groomed on Wednesday i couldn't believe my eyes he was perfect more than that he never looked so good thank you Fran and Abbie
My Alfie boy (Springer spaniel) has just had a cut and wash he went in a little nervous and when I went to collect him he was so chilled out and would of stayed there all day , thank you to Amy who has done a wonderful cut and wash for him . I would highly recommend to anyone thanks again Amy and Fran see you soon .
We always get great service from Fran and the team. Our dogs love having their grooming sessions and we are always delighted with the results.
Took my 9 Yr old chihuahua Mojo to fran and her team for the first time yesterday, he was very nervous but when I picked him up he was so relaxed I thought he wasn't my dog he was that chilled haha, thank you to fran and her team for working their magic on him. Looking forward for the next visit

First time using Fran and the Team. Coco looked beautiful, best groom she has ever had. I can honestly say she was the calmest she’s been. I would highly recommend Dogzbody Spa. So glad we’ve found Fran. Coco looks fabulous. Thank you x
