About me
Hi, my name is Dawn and I own Evie’s Place Professional Dog Grooming and Spa, which is named after my own dog, Evie.
I am a Level 3 City and Guilds qualified groomer, First Aid Trained and have qualifications in Canine Behaviour and Welfare, along with certificates in Oral and Dental Health in Cats and Dogs and Emmi-pet Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning.
I am passionate about grooming and education and regularly attend seminars to keep my knowledge up to date.
I have trained one to one under a Level 4 Master of Guilds groomer and have worked in a busy salon before setting up Evie’s Place.
I understand that the salon environment can be very stressful with lots of noise, smells and distractions, which isn’t suitable to the needs of every dog.
I have set up Evie’s place to provide a personalised, one-to-one grooming and spa service for dogs in a safe and peaceful environment.
I take great pride in my one-on-one approach to dog grooming. I understand that each dog is unique, and I tailor my services to meet their specific needs.
It's essential to me that your pet receives undivided attention and care during their visit, creating a sense of trust and comfort.
I've designed my grooming space to be a tranquil haven where your dog can relax and feel secure. Safety is my top priority, and I've taken every measure to ensure your pet's well-being throughout the grooming process.
