About me
It’s certainly no secret to those who know me that I am absolutely besotted with our faithful ‘four legged friends!’ For as long as I can remember, dogs have played a poignant role in my life and career from childhood to now.
Whilst working in a local animal sanctuary back in 2003, I was given the opportunity to work much more closely with stray/unwanted dogs who had found their way there for a multitude of reasons. Although at times this could be very demanding due to the sensitive nature of some of the dog’s backgrounds, I suddenly found myself considering what else I could do help with their rehabilitation. Following on from this, in 2007 I enrolled at Hadlow College and successfully gained a city and guilds Level 2 Dog Grooming qualification. As soon as I qualified, I used my new found skill set in grooming to further assist the sanctuary.
My interest and enthusiasm for dog grooming continued to develop. In 2011 I was offered a full time grooming position in a salon. The experience this particular role gave me was invaluable and in turn inspired me to start up my very own mobile dog grooming business in 2013. I have worked hard to secure a full time client base for which I am both proud and appreciative of.
I work on a one-to-one basis, outside your house or place of work in my specially equipped Vehicle. Each dog I groom is given their own personalised treatment plan to suit their breed and temperament in a stress free environment.
I continue to further my knowledge by attending Grooming competitions and lectures.
I am currently owned by two GSD’s, a Minature Poodle and a three legged rescue Patterdale Terrier.
