About me

Hey, I’m Bronte and I have a little grooming parlour named Bronte’s Woofer wash based from our home in Maldon, Essex.

I trained at Writtle University College and achieved my City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 qualification here. I’m very dedicated to the industry and always want to better myself where I can.

I own a little Pomchi called Scrappy who is full of character and I previously had two St Bernard’s called Henry & Daisy. I would love to have a Standard poodle one day and try out some creative style grooming.

I’ve grown up with a vast variety of different animals including: horses, dogs, snakes, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, you name it, I’ve probably had it at some point haha! I’ve always been interested in animal care and spend a lot of my time reading to learn more about them and their care.

I am passionate about grooming and my education and regularly attend seminars when I can. I subscribe to the The English groomers group and belong to many more groups.

I have completed a Pet First Aid course at Writtle college as-well as with animal love by Sophie Bell.

My greatest industry achievement is earning a distinction in each of my practical level 3 grooming exams.
