Qualified independent groomer with level 2 city and guilds level 3 ocn with accredited canine first aid and now cpd in canine nutrition. I offer a unique alternative to a traditional salon, a one to one only dog grooming service where dogs are able to roam freely in my secure garden and for us to build a rapport before commencing a groom. Really helpful, fitted us in last minute and went above and beyond. Thorough professional groom. Also looked after my dog until I finished work so that was great.
Fortunately, I came across Terrie on the Groomers’ Spotlight; her inclusion being an endorsement in itself. My confidence increased as i read she provides a one to one holistic approach rather than the rush job on a production line. My high maintenance long hair double coated puppy, coming up to 5 months was ready for her first groom. Terrie offers a trial run for puppies, where she takes opportunity to get to know the puppy. This is a gentle introduction to the grooming table with breaks for playtime and run around the garden. Leading up to the big haircut, Terrie explains which method would be most suitable and we agree best way forward. Unfortunately, my puppy was far more matted that we had both realised and I appreciated how much care and patience was needed. However, as severe as the first cut was, the new coat began to grow back within weeks. Now with Terrie’s advice on the correct tool kit, I am able to maintain her coat to prevent matting. Together Terrie and I will ensure puppy continues to look beautiful. Terrie is a lovely, kind lady and has a special rapport with doggies. She also offers a daycare service, which when needed is incredibly helpful. My puppy has a new friend and I would not hesitate in recommending Terrie as your dog groomer.
