About me

My name is Natasha, I grew up with dogs always being part of our family from Yorkshire Terriers to Great Danes and have always been a great animal lover. Having had cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea-pigs, hamsters, rats, ducks, chickens, lambs, pigs & even rescued hedgehogs to hand rear before releasing into the wild, as part of the family, animal handling and care comes second nature to me!! I also used to help with the care of a gorgeous horse at a local stables.

Being passionate about dog grooming and dog (animal) care in general I set up the Salon in response to client needs in the area to offer dogs a calm, enjoyable, safe experience during their grooming. My ethos is to treat dogs like my own and totally spoil them rotten!! Grooming is a key part of a dogs well being it's important this is enjoyable for them. I thoroughly enjoy every grooming experience!!

Previously I was a Practice Manager of a 5 branch busy Veterinary group and my whole working life has been, and is, based around the well being and care of animals.

I set up Spoilt Rotten as I love grooming dogs and looking after them!! Although I have over 17 years experience grooming dogs I wanted to further my skills and knowledge, so I undertook and successfully completed my Level 3 City & Guilds Dog Grooming Qualification Certificate & Diploma, receiving a distinction, which I'm very proud of. Prior to this, although not animal related, I have achieved my NVQ Level 3 in Management and ILM Level 5 in Leadership and Management, caring, quality & professionalism are important core values at Spoilt Rotten. Animal First Aid qualified also.

I am now the highest qualified professional dog groomer for many counties around and the only Internationally Certified Master Groomer in Devon and Bucks and one of just 4 in Middlesex!

Being recognised for Entrepreneur of the Year/ Business Woman of the Year for the last 5 years running means so much to me, I'm super proud to be a role model for my team and others around me. I offer advice in a variety of areas and am always more than happy to help and offer support whenever my clients need, when it comes to the care of their dogs. This includes nutritional, neutering, weight, behaviour, training, socialisation, flea & worming & vaccinations.

We have had a fair few dogs receive nutritional advice when they needed to shed a few pounds which followed this and met their ideal body weight giving them more mobility and a better quality of life generally. We have weighing scales so we can accurately record and track their weight loss too!! We'd love the opportunity to meet you and your dog and welcome them to join the Spoilt Rotten experience and for this to become a part of their usual routine.

We specialise in working with nervous or nervous aggressive dogs, taking our time, care and attention to build their trust and settle them in to the salon environment, it's so lovely and heart warming to see the differences we make, every day. And also woolly coated breads and Cocker Spaniels.
