About me
Hello, my name’s Lisa. I live and breathe dogs, cats & horses and have done from a very young age! My Granny used to have a life sized Old English Sheep Dog teddy which I used to brush with a hairbrush when I was little, I think it was always apparent I was going to become a pet groomer!
I started off my grooming career as a professional show-groom for an international show jumper, it was here that I learned of my passion for grooming, in this instance top class showjumpers. My thirst for high standards, attention to detail and caring for animals soon developed to dog grooming.
I became an assistant stylist for a large uk pet grooming chain in 2011. I gained vast experience & knowledge and within a year became a salon manager within the company, in charge of the daily running of the salon and the productivity and training of my colleagues.
Maisies Dog Grooming is my very own venture. It’s a brand new salon in the stunning location of the Hillfoots in Clackmannanshire. I have always dreamt of having my own salon and I’m lucky to be opening the doors this month (October 2019) and welcoming new clients to my books. My services include: Full Grooms, including breed standard trims or any groom style suited to your dog, Hand-stripping of wire or silky coats, Puppy grooms, De-shedding, and Bath & Blow Drys.

Lisa is one of the best groomers I have ever seen, the quality of cut she gave my Toy poodle Parker was incredible. Really impressed with her knowledge and her ability. An absolute asset to the grooming community!

Lisa is not only an extremely talented groom she has a unique way of relating to both my border terriers. Nothing phases Lisa even managing Louis and Harris at the same time not easy. Both my borders love Lisa and always keen to see her. The hand strip they get is very well done and they always look immaculate. I really appreciate the time and effort Lisa puts into my dogs she is the best!!
Lisa is an excellent groomer she makes my golden doodle absolutely gorgeous every time, and makes my dog feel very reassured when she goes. Highly recommend Lisa.
Lisa has groomed my 8 year old cocker spaniel, Hamlin, since he was a very small puppy, and I would never take him to anyone else. Lisa puts him totally at ease, with lots of cuddles and kisses, which he loves. Hamlin always looks and smells lovely after his groom and I have never been disappointed with Lisa’s standards. She is a consummate professional, knowledgeable and easy to speak to. Hamlin and I have followed Lisa, as she has progressed and excelled in her chosen profession, and have no hesitation in continuing to do so. I cannot recommend her highly enough ☺️
Lisa & her team have groomed Mason our cocker spaniel since he was a puppy and we have never been extremely consistent with him over the years we continue to recommend her to other owners of pets. Mason loves going to get his cut and goes quite willingly. You can see Lisa has a passion for the pets she grooms as if they were her own. We book our next appointment when done to ensure we have not to wait for an appointment for his next cut as the diary is always full.
Should have said she has been extremely consistent with him over the years on above post. He just had another cut yesterday and as always he has came back looking fabulous. Thank you again Lisa . See you in August for his next groom and cut . X

Lisa is the best Groomer Ever!!’ Bungle and Daphne love their teddy cuts and always come back looking amazing. She is great with the pups and loves what she does. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Duke and Dutchess loves coming to Lisa to have there groom.
Sorry should not have pressed go done by mistake duke and Dutchess always comes home looking real dapper. Would I recommend Lisa to others yes very much so. I tell anyone who ask. Where they get groomed. Lisa is a great lady we have great respect for her.

Kali has been going to see Lisa since before covid, I love the way Lisa interacts with the dogs, looked through the window and saw her lying on the floor with Kali! and all the special wee touches she puts in just makes it more special.Fabulous groomer, couldn't imagine taking my girl anywhere else

Lisa has been grooming our little Jake the Cockapoo since he was a puppy. Lisa really is the very best. During lockdown I had to use a mobile groomer as we couldn’t drive out of our area. It proved to me Lisa is the very best and talented groomer. When Jake has been groomed by Lisa he looks amazing. Her attention to detail is wonderful and he always comes away not only smelling gorgeous but looking so handsome too.
Lisa has been looking after our wee chomp since before Covid and always does an amazing job with him. Always comes home smelling and looking fab!! He always looks forward to going over. He’s treated like a little prince from the minute he arrives and loves lisa interacting with him. She’s a very talented lady and I’m so glad we found her. Well done Lisa you’re fab!!! ❤️
