Abbie is Lead Tutor of our City & Guilds qualification delivery and assessment.  Abbie believes in high standards, with animal welfare as a core principle demonstrated in all of her work.  

The National Pet College works with a number of private training centres to deliver Ofqual regulated, City & Guilds dog grooming qualifications, and exemplary grooming training. Their training centres undergo rigorous quality assurance checks, and annual audits, to ensure that they provide the highest standard of grooming training. There are currently only 8 in the UK and Vanity Fur is the only one in Wales! Vanity Fur was awarded the Pet Industry Federation UK Grooming Business Of The Year 2022. This is a key element of Vanity Fur's future efforts in raising standards across the sector and to develop the next generation of talent. This is part of a industry initiative which will hopefully mean minimum accredited qualifications/licensing to protect the interests of owners and their dogs.
